Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your fram.d account and all of the data associated with it. You can do it yourself in the app in a few taps, or ask us to do it for you if you no longer have the app installed.
1. Delete in the app
The fastest way is directly in the fram.d app. Your account and data are removed immediately:
- Open the fram.d app and sign in.
- Tap the person icon to open your profile.
- Tap the gear icon (top right) to open Account settings.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Once you confirm, your account is deleted and you're signed out. This action is permanent and can't be undone.
2. Request deletion by email
Don't have the app anymore, or can't sign in? Email us and we'll delete your account and data for you:
Please send the request from the email address on your account, or tell us the email and @username you used, so we can verify it's really you. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will confirm by email when it's done.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your memories and all of their photos.
- Every photo and audio file you uploaded, deleted from our media storage.
- Your voice and text notes on your own and other people's memories.
- Your tags, broadcast groups, and profile (username and display name).
- Your sign-in credentials (your Firebase Authentication account), so the login can no longer be used.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Deletion is immediate and permanent for the data above. We do not keep backup copies of your photos or audio beyond the deletion. We may retain a limited set of records for a short period only where we're required to — for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Such records are kept no longer than necessary and are then deleted.
